Corrina Peipon Part I

An artist, curator, and writer living in Los Angeles, California, Corrina Peipon earned her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in San Francisco, California in 1998 and her MFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California in 2004. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and her most recent curatorial project was Index: Conceptualism in California from the Permanent Collection at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles in 2008. She has contributed to numerous publications including WACK! Art and Feminist Revolution and This Is Not To Be Looked At: Highlights from the Permanent Collection of The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Her essays have been included in the monographic publications Video by Jordan Biren as well as Just Good Vibes by Maya Hayuk. She was a founding board member of Outpost for Contemporary Art, where she also served as Board President until 2008. Corrina is currently a principal in the aesthetic consulting firm Friends & Relations and serves as Curatorial Associate at the UCLA HAMMER museum in Los Angeles.
